Are these pinnately compound or palmately?! please help!!!!?

Tulip poplar, silver maple, and i didnt know if pine like needles could be compound, if so, the american aborvitae. help!!!!!!!!!

None of the above.

Tulip poplar and silver maple are both "simple" leaves; they are not compound. I've never seen the simple/compound dichotomy applied to conifers because each needle is a separate entity. Arborvitae has branching foliage that doesn't fit the classic pinnate or palmate pattern. However, it roughly follows the compound pinnate pattern found in some ferns (e.g. pinnate pinnatafid).

American ash is an example of pinnate.
Horse chestnut is an example of palmate.
